"I’m a good artist. It makes me happy. My favorite materials are burlap and yarn to sew. I like coming to program. It relaxes me. I like going in the museum to get inspiration."
Mary Ann uses her surroundings for inspiration in creating her artwork. She has a love of people, sunsets, and the ocean which is reflected in her colorful drawings. Mary Ann is by nature a social person who loves the Beach Boys, meeting new people and experiencing new things. When Mary Ann describes her artwork, she says “it’s beautiful, it makes me feel relaxed and to think of all the exciting things I have coming up”.
