"I love how much I enjoy doing art -how much it makes other people happy. I like the inspiration it brings to myself and I love the happiness in the bright colors of my artwork!"

Debbie is fond of art and people. She has been exposed to creativity by a loving and artistic family. Nurturing and devoted, she has helped children enjoy the arts as a teacher’s aide for more than 30 years. Curiosity and good humor at Starlight imbue her process of exploring painting, printing, collage, and assemblage.

Some of her favorite ways of working are with quilling and painting. The difference between the 2 techniques provides variety; “I like the bright colors, and I like that they are different from each other.”

Fabric, yarn, ribbon and other fiber also appear regularly in her creations.
