Jeremy has been attending Starlight Studio since 2008. His development as an artist has included the exploration of abstract as well as figurative forms. In addition to visual arts, creative writing plays a part in his creative process; reading at various events as well as blogging are outlets for his poetry. Jeremy endeavors to have his visual artworks and his poetry reach a public through exhibitions and publications.
Jeremy has been exploring mass and form in the paintings of August Renoir. He is using these reference materials as a guide in the development of his drawing skills. Furthermore, he strives to achieve the same bold, yet whimsical use of color and style as Marc Chagall. Jeremy enjoys writing poetry as a complement to his practice of painting and drawing as it is bold in its combination of words and expressive language.
