Sonya's work is a refreshing and rhythmic orchestration of line, shape and color. She prefers to work on collages of glue, cut paper, watercolor ribbon, and sales catalogs. "Usually I like to make a collage on a piece of paper, cut up pieces of paper. Then I glue them onto the paper. I like to cut out pictures of food, art pictures, and products from magazines, newspapers, and sale papers. I like to take tissue paper and cut up pieces and put them on a piece of paper or matte board. I show color, food, shapes, numbers, letters...I guess that's it."
