"Exploring my creativity and letting my art be free is what makes me happy," says Mary Hunt when asked about her desire to create art. Mary was born in Buffalo 43 years ago. It wasn't until six years ago, when an illness left Mary housebound did she begin creating art. "I drew what was outside my window to lift my spirits and make myself happy." Mary enjoys creating ceramic sculptures of dogs and vivid drawings of angels to feel fulfilled. "I used to belong to two other programs, but I like coming to Starlight the best. Starlight allows me to show people my happiness and joy when they look at my artwork."
